Welcome to Confessions of a Cook where you can find recipes, useful tips and my 

confessions on cooking delicious food!! This blog mainly focuses on making vegetarian food in an easy way. Now I am also venturing into Vegan and organic food. I am an amateur home cook, but my main goal in coming days is to experiment with flavours and find an efficient way for cooking food.


All the recipes published in this blog have been cooked, tested and tasted by me and my husband (my lab rat ;)). Few recipes in this blog are my own invention, or my take on traditional food with a twist here and there. 



That's about the blog and now something about me... 



I started this blog back in 2012.



*Flashback*


I resign my job just for the heck of it. I am single and really don't know much what to do next. I just walk around the house and pass by the kitchen door (I have never been into kitchen till then...:P). I see my mom worried looking at a bowl of rice flour. I step into (*bgm plays*)the kitchen take the bowl from her and quickly make some Adhirasams**...What!! Well...my mom helped but still... that's huge!! That is when the bug bit me. Cooking runs in my blood.(Too much Drama I say...)


Moral of the story: When life throws rice flour at you, make Adhirasams**



All in all my passion is to cook and serve the best food for my family :) And so I am here to share my experience.
