Yum delicious chocolate burfis learnt from my mom.... Here it is...:)
Ingredients:
Sugar - 1 1/4 cup
Maida - 1 cup
Cocoa Powder - 2 tbspn
Vanilla Essence - 2-3 drops
Ghee - 5 tbspn
Method:
- Mix maida, cocoa powder and ghee.
- Boil water and sugar to make sugar syrup 1 1/2 string consistency.
- Add maida mixture to the sugar syrup
- Mix it together without lumps.
- When the batter thickens, pour it on a greased plate.
- Cut into small tikkis , once cooled to room temperature.
Confessions:
- If the batter does not thicken, leave it on stove for some more time.
- When the batter leaves out the sides of pan, it is cooked and is the right time to pour it on the plate.
- What else to confess... I just tastes heavenly...:)
