Choco Tikki / Choco Burfi

Yum delicious chocolate burfis learnt from my mom.... Here it is...:)


Ingredients:
Sugar   -   1 1/4 cup
Maida  -    1 cup
Cocoa Powder   -  2 tbspn
Vanilla Essence    -  2-3 drops
Ghee    -   5 tbspn

Method:
  1. Mix maida, cocoa powder and ghee.
  2. Boil water and sugar to make sugar syrup 1 1/2 string consistency.
  3. Add maida mixture to the sugar syrup
  4. Mix it together without lumps.
  5. When the batter thickens, pour it on a greased plate.
  6. Cut into small tikkis , once cooled to room temperature.
Confessions:
  • If the batter does not thicken, leave it on stove for some more time.
  • When the batter leaves out the sides of pan, it is cooked and is the right time to pour it on the plate. 
  • What else to confess... I just tastes heavenly...:)
