Pistachio sauce

Alright so here it is .... after a long gap... the yummiest sauce which can be used as a side for chocolate crepe in my previous post...


Ingredients:
Pistachios      -    100 gms
Milk              -     1 cup
Fresh cream      -   2-3 tbspn
Sugar            -     3-4 tbspn
Butter           -   1 tspn


Method:
  1. Ground the pistachios and make it into paste by adding 3 tspns of milk to it.
  2. Heat a pan. Melt the butter and saute the pistachio paste for a couple of minutes in low flame.
  3. Then add milk and sugar to it and mix well.
  4. Keep stirring until the mixture boils and then add fresh cream to it and switch off the stove.
Voila!!! our creamy sauce is ready.


Confessions:
  • Adjust the ingredients more or less, to get the fine saucy consistency....
  • Now I had coupled it up with crepe... but it can be just on its own... :)
